Overview Job Summary This position is responsible for high-speed processing of customer offers and field personnel task requests for the Commercial Operations Organization. The role is also accountable for facilitating requests for proposal responses, pricing proposal approvals, supplies and service contracts review, negotiations, analysis, and reporting for business decision support. The Deal Desk Analyst is responsible for supporting deal processing with a defined set of sales teams within the organization. Responsibilities Key Accountabilities Responsible to quickly and accurately process offers and tasks, maintaining targets on gross profit and average selling price. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to advise the Sales Organization on strategy to structure profitable offers. Uses , communicates and helps to maintain, approval guidelines, standardized templates, deal checklists, and approval workflows, that focus on high velocity deal processing. Ensures all business terms meet organization requirements, and communicates them, within the system, to the Contracting Team as well as the sales organization. Works collaboratively with field based staff as well as internal departments as necessary. Improving efficiencies, and removing bottlenecks in deal processing, customer price negotiations, and task request management. Develops strong relationships with all key stakeholders. Employs critical behaviors, such as; concierge service, relationship building, and high velocity deal & task processing. Communicates clearly, concisely, and respectfully to foster an effective relationship with internal customers. Networking/Key relationships Senior Leadership, Sales, Applications, Service, IT Solutions, Contracting, Finance, Client Services, Legal & Compliance Qualifications Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or similar discipline required. Minimum of 2 years of related business experience involving, deal processing, task management, contracting, sales operations, and or business analysis in a similar or related industry required. Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.
Skills & Capabilities:
Superior project management and time management skills, including effectively managing multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment. Detail and process oriented with focus on continuous improvements to maximize effectiveness and efficiencies. Strong working knowledge of customer offer process and business knowledge to deliver high output, financially risk balanced, deals. Ability to communicate effectively with external, and internal departments. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Strong decision making skills and ability to prioritize work independently. Werfen offer and pricing systems knowledge, SAP, CRM, and other systems Strong Microsoft Office Suite competencies, including advanced skills with Excel and or Power BI type tools.
Travel Requirements:
Up to 10% travel. The annual base salary range for this role is currently $80,000 to $100,000. Individual employee compensation will ultimately depend on factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and particular business needs. This role is eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k plan retirement benefits with an employer match, as well as paid vacation and sick leave. Our sales roles are eligible for participation in a commission plan and our management, and select professional roles, are eligible for a performance-based bonus.
