  • TS Lincoln, MA Apply Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Contracting Officer (PCO) / Senior Buyer to support a federal defense program.
This individual will be responsible for supporting acquisition and procurement activities throughout the contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations, agency policies, and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience working within federal agencies or defense organizations and possess a strong understanding of government procurement processes. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can collaborate with program teams, legal, finance, and government stakeholders to support critical acquisition efforts in a classified environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Support and execute federal procurement and acquisition activities in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations. Prepare, review, and process solicitations, contract modifications, purchase requests, and award documentation. Coordinate with program managers, technical teams, and government stakeholders to support acquisition strategies and contract execution. Conduct market research and evaluate vendor proposals. Assist with contract negotiations, pricing analysis, and procurement planning activities. Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance throughout the acquisition lifecycle. Maintain accurate procurement documentation and records. Support audits, reviews, and compliance assessments as required. Communicate procurement status, risks, and recommendations to leadership.   • Active TS/SCI Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SAP access.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience serving as a:

  • Strong understanding of federal procurement and acquisition processes.
  • Experience working within a federal agency or defense environment, such as:
  • Experience supporting contract administration, negotiations, acquisitions, and procurement activities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Previous experience as a warranted Contracting Officer or Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO). Experience supporting highly classified defense programs. DAWIA, FAC-C, or other federal acquisition certifications. Experience supporting DoD acquisition programs. Knowledge of contract pricing, source selection, and procurement strategy development.
