We are a full-service distributor of Generac equipment and solutions providing sales, service and rentals. Major Responsibilities Monitor service contract and service end dates, initiating the renewal process well in advance of expiration. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients — answering questions, issuing timely reminders, and addressing concerns throughout the renewal cycle. Work cross-functionally to build renewal proposals, gathering the pricing, scope, and service data required to present a complete package to the client. Negotiate renewal pricing, contract terms, and multi-year commitments; re-estimate contracts to reflect current labor rates. Review service history data to identify at-risk accounts early and intervene to resolve dissatisfaction before it leads to cancellation. Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services or upgrade clients to higher-tier offerings. Track renewal performance metrics, forecast future revenue retention, and maintain accurate records. Coach, train, and guide team members to achieve retention targets. Partner with Shared Services to process renewal paperwork and with Contract Entry to ensure accurate system entry. Report renewal progress and the status of current and past-due renewals in team meetings. Minimum Job Requirements Education High school diploma or GED Certification / License None Required Work Experience 4+ years in contract renewals, account management, or customer retention; demonstrated negotiation of pricing and multi-year agreements; experience mentoring or directing the work of others Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Building and explaining retention and renewal forecasts Advanced Excel and CRM reporting Coaching and constructive feedback delivery Review of proposals for accuracy, scope completeness, and margin before release Comfortable making decisions on when to escalate, concede, or hold firm Management of personal workload alongside team support Written communication suitable for reporting to management Preferred Job Requirements Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field Certification / License None required Work Experience 5-7 years in renewals or recurring-revenue management, including team lead or player-coach experience and accountability for a team-level retention metric Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Churn trend analysis and process or pricing recommendations Development of training materials, playbooks, and SOPs Standardization of proposal templates and pricing guidance Presenting performance data to management Familiarity with contract profitability and revenue recognition concepts
Compensation:
Generac is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary for this role is $32.12 - $40.15 and hour. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.
