EM 385-1-1, OSHA

standards, and contract requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Accident Prevention Plan (APP).
• Conduct daily safety inspections and audits of job sites.
• Prepare and enforce Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
• Ensure compliance with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards.
• Lead safety meetings, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with Government safety personnel.
• Stop work when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Promote a culture of safety across all project personnel. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience on federal construction projects.

• OSHA 30 certification required (OSHA 40 preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices. Physical Requirements
• Frequent site inspections requiring walking, climbing, and standing.
• Exposure to construction hazards and outdoor environments. Preferred Qualifications
• CHST, CSP, or equivalent certification.
• USACE project experience.
