Responsibilities:
Manage a diverse portfolio of contracts across various types, complexities, and sizes•monitoring invoices and budgets to keep projects on track and costs in check
Serve as the go-to contractual expert for Project Managers, providing clear guidance on requirements and helping teams navigate challenges with confidence
Lead contract start-up and closeout processes, ensuring smooth transitions at every stage of the contract lifecycle
Contribute to competitive proposal efforts by assisting with cost proposals and narratives that position Peraton to win
Build and maintain strong customer relationships•acting as a collaborative team leader who resolves issues quickly and streamlines processes
Analyze, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including Teaming Agreements, NDAs, MOUs, MOAs, and other binding instruments
Partner closely with internal program teams to tackle highly complex challenges and deliver creative, effective solutions
Champion sound business principles that support departmental and divisional goals #
MDFSP Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field plus 8+ years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience; or 12+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Hands-on experience managing Government contracts and subcontracts under FAR, DFARS, and applicable agency supplements
Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs, participating in proposal and pre-award review meetings, conducting negotiations, and drafting/finalizing contracts
Proficiency in preparing, maintaining, and communicating contract records, reports, and documentation in compliance with corporate and contract management requirements
Experience executing contract closeout•including finalizing outstanding issues, issuing final modifications and invoices, and coordinating contractor performance evaluations
Comfortable interfacing with all levels of internal and external management and organizational stakeholders
Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required
US Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool
Self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
Deep knowledge of contract types, terms, and conditions
Ability to interpret and implement policies and procedures with minimal direction

Target Salary Range $104,000•$166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
