Job Description

The Warranty Administrator is responsible for overall coordination, processing, and re-imbursement of all Liebherr warranty programs for the Saline, MI. facility. This position is responsible for providing effective warranty support to all internal customers by utilizing excellent communications and coordination efforts for maximum LSL re-imbursement while maintaining an in-depth knowledge of product and support programs. This individual must handle multiple issues and priorities while also facilitating resolution to recurring issues and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities Essential Job Duties:
Administers the commercial warranty process for maximum return of monetary compensation. Conducts investigations & researches data to confirm / deny warranty eligibility. Attends meetings. Prepares various reports including the Monthly Warranty Report. Submits claims for re-imbursement to OEM, 3rd party suppliers. Performs credit reconciliation. Recognizes patterns and potential issues. Pro-acts to minimize adverse impact and maximize financial benefit. Audits repair orders for re-imbursement and special commercial conditions. Challenges claim rejections. Performs pre-invoicing reconciliation Processes claims for services performed at customers' facilities. Any other duties as assigned.
Position Specific Competencies:
Ability to maintain high degree of motivation in a complex fast paced team environment. Ability to multi-task, maintain organization and analyze / solve problems. Ability to do schedules and manage multiple tasks and priorities (time management) and utilize critical thinking in the daily performance of duties to make decisions and accomplish an effective work flow. Ability to function productively with excellent communication skills (oral and written). Ability to successfully operate with ambiguous guidelines.
Competencies Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years of experience in related field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in the aviation industry preferred.
