Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warranty Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage warranty claims, handle service contract claims, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your expertise will help streamline claims processing, support customer satisfaction, and uphold our commitment to excellence in service.
Responsibilities Process Claims:
File and submit warranty and service contract claims daily or weekly according to strict manufacturer, distributor, or extended warranty guidelines.
Verify Coverage:
Review repair orders (ROs) to verify customer and vehicle eligibility, proper labor operation codes, and required factory criteria.
Handle Rejections:
Track rejected or returned claims, research root causes, make corrections, and resubmit promptly or escalate for write-off authorization.
Reconcile Receivables:
Match warranty and service contract credits and payments against accounting schedules daily/monthly.
Post Credits:
Enter manufacturer payments and credits into the computer system or Dealer Management System (DMS).
Aged Balances:
Follow up on unpaid, aged, or outstanding claims to prevent financial loss.
Audit Readiness:
Maintain clean, organized physical and digital service records required for factory audits.
Qualifications Experience:
2+ years of experience in an automotive dealership, preferably in service, parts, or warranty administration.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or accounting background is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with specific Dealer Management Systems (DMS) or manufacturer portals (e.g., DealerConnect).
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities, and clear written/verbal communication skills.
Certification:
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Warranty Administrator Certification is preferred but not required. Join our team as a Warranty Administrator if you're passionate about delivering precise service while supporting our commitment to operational excellence!
Pay:
From $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
