The Green Markets team provides critical data and insights including current product prices, market sentiment reports, and macro analysis on a variety of commodity markets. Green Markets' analysts are industry renowned for their subject matter expertise and superior market research. By creating market transparency, Green Markets enables market participants to make more informed decisions. Our team has an exciting opportunity for a US Plastic Resins Pricing Analyst. Your product focus areas in this role are Polyethylene "PE" (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE); Polypropylene "PP"; Polyethylene terephthalate "PET"; Polystyrene "PS" and Expanded Polystyrene "EPS"; Polyvinyl chloride "PVC". We'll Trust You to: Continually develop and manage a network of industry participants representing buyers and sellers of plastic resins Regularly engage with and gather data from market participants to develop proprietary plastics resins price assessments for key US regional markets Source market sentiment information, react to feedback from clients and company collaborators, and manage ad-hoc projects that are part of the overall product strategy Uncover market trends and developments and synthesize this information to develop proprietary intelligence for use by a variety of market constituents Develop high quality written market analysis on a weekly basis and contribute to regular communications of significant market events Use your industry and market knowledge to play a central part in product marketing and sales You'll Need to
Have:
3+ years of professional experience in analyzing, buying or selling plastics resins Expert understanding of plastic resins and downstream products' pricing dynamics, influences and mechanisms Credible contacts in the plastics resins market and/or a strong understanding of the companies operating in this industry, including imported products Superlative communication, interpersonal, networking and relationship development skills Analytical and information gathering skills combined with the ability to develop conclusions on market pricing trends A high level of motivation and strong work ethic Bachelors degree minimum We'd Love toSee:

Salary Range = 45 - 60 USD Hourly The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
