Job Description

The Harry Walker Agency, a business unit of WME, seeks a smart and motivated Contracts Administrator to join its Business Affairs Department in New York, NY. Primary responsibilities include organizational and administrative support of the business affairs team as a core job duty, drafting and negotiation of speaking engagement contracts (in consultation with sales agents and talent managers) for high profile individuals, including entertainers, athletes, authors, global thought leaders and former heads of state. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills, be highly organized, and have keen judgment. The ability to handle a high-volume of work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment is a must. Work with BA executives to manage team work flow, meetings, record keeping, deal tracking and documentation Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and legal processes Draft contracts between speakers, the agency and hosting organizations Process contract edits and revisions in a time sensitive and professional manner Adeptly manage and prioritize assignments on a minute to minute basis, including using CRM to keep detailed records, following team processes and structures Accurately and professionally communicate internally with all internal stakeholders, including team managers, sales agents and talent managers Communicate as necessary via phone and email with host organizations, including including domestic and international corporations, non-profits, trade associations and institutions of higher learning Perform special projects as required
You Have These:
Bachelor's degree with demonstrated interest in the entertainment industry and/or as a legal assistant, paralegal or contracts professional Strong desire to work in the entertainment industry Detail oriented with outstanding organizational skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Solutions-focused with a strong work ethic and drive to learn and contribute An upbeat, positive, communicative team-player with a no-nonsense approach to work Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the rate shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. The company strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.
Hiring Rate Minimum:
$49,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)
Hiring Rate Maximum:
