The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking qualified candidates to apply for our Project Analyst opening! The Project Analyst will oversee a variety of Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) contracts from set up through closeout in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will be responsible for submitting deliverables, preparing financial reports, determining resource allocations, and completing financial projections and analysis. The analyst will also be responsible for approving purchases and travel requests against contract budgets. Furthermore, the analyst will be responsible for the management of subcontracts as needed. The analyst will manage the above duties and act as the liaison between the primary investigator and UDRI administrative offices. The analyst will also have direct communications with AFRL customers and are expected to provide outstanding customer service through one-on-one interactions and group meetings as required.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of six years of experience OR a Master's degree plus a minimum of five years of experience is required Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat Exhibit excellent written communication skills, attention to detail, and thoroughness Proven ability to collaborate with others and complete objectives within a timely manner Ability to manage several projects at a time and maintain deadlines Ability to create and sustain financial reports Capable of extracting data for current and historical analysis Ability to prepare spend plans and provide recommendations to maintain program goals Capable of understanding contract requirements and determining appropriate methods of completion Proven ability to maintain a budget and track expenses overtime Exhibit strong critical thinking skills and establish procedures for long-term success Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to obtain security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following: Bachelor's Degree in business or technical area 3+ years experience working with AFRL contracts Experience managing AFRL prime contracts (financial management, purchasing, and subcontracts) Experience with Costpoint ERP System Experience in revenue forecasting Proven intermediate experience with Excel Experience working in a remote environment Special Instructions toApplicants:
