The National Lime and Stone Company, a multi-plant, natural resource company, is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Receptionist/Contract Admin/Accounting Clerk to join our NLS Paving team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional, flexible, positive attitude
  • High energy level and ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills - Excel, Outlook, Word and Viewpoint ERP System
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, resourceful, ability to research/recommend solutions
Essential Functions/Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assists estimators with bid preparation and reposting results: This includes bid document preparation, securing bid bonds, and certificates of insurance
  • Contracts administration for prime contracts and sub-contracts
  • Prepare and maintain fuel usage/mileage summaries monthly/quarterly
  • Assists in the tracking of asphalt liquid and tack usage (weigh ins/weigh outs)
  • Maintains compliance of local/State/general license, certificates and certifications.
  • Calculate daily truck tickets and enter them into job costing/accounting software
  • Receptionist for the NLS Paving office
  • Assist with the distribution of Viewpoint reports weekly/daily as needed
  • Assist accounting with month end closings, year-end closing, audit requests The successful candidate is preferred to have: 2 year associate's degree in accounting or business related field 3-5 years' experience in general accounting, job construction administration, and receptionist duties preferred This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
