This role supports the continuous maintenance and creation of proposals materials, to ensure accurate and up-to-date content and materials. They work with a graphics-focused Proposal Specialist and strategy-focused Proposal Manager to contribute to winning business proposals and presentations. The Proposal Specialist has strong research, analytical and writing skills. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who is self-motivated, resourceful and organized. They hold themselves to a high standard for accountability and results. The Proposal Specialist demonstrates resilience under pressure: If 'Plan A' isn't working, they adapt and execute 'Plan B' quickly to reach the goal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather and evaluate content from preconstruction, business development and marketing teams and systems to ensure thorough and consistent data in proposals work. Execute regularly scheduled updates to materials, including resumes, experience and data sheets, to ensure accuracy. Support updates to charts, tables and business development materials. Assist in proposal production efforts such as print and assembling binder covers and spines. Work on a fun, fast-paced proposals team, while multi-tasking to meet tight deadlines. SKILLS Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) & Microsoft Office (PowerPoint). Basic understanding of, or experience with, databases and CRM systems. Project management skills; able to plan, achieve, and evaluate results as a member of the proposal team and/or on your own. Excellent communication skills and ability to offer input and feedback to team members. Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize workload. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow as the proposals team grows. Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative in supporting proposal efforts. Ability to collaborate with Business Development Managers, Project Executives, Preconstruction Leaders, Project Managers, Marketing and relevant consultants in the proposal process. Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks and possess strong organizational skills. Effective project management, communication, writing and computer skills are essential.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Brand Communications, Marketing, Business Writing or related major or equivalent professional experience Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience in similar or related role is required Experience with SharePoint and other file-sharing systems Basic knowledge of CRM systems and similar databases We welcome applicants with diverse career paths, including professionals returning to the workforce and those with career breaks or non-linear professional experience.
