- Manage and validate telecom expenses across global voice, data, mobility, WAN, internet, SIP, contact center, and carrier services.
- Review, audit, and reconcile telecom invoices to ensure billing accuracy, contract compliance, and cost optimization across business locations, airport facilities, and corporate offices.
- Identify billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, inactive services, underutilized assets, and cost-saving opportunities while driving expense reduction initiatives.
- Maintain and manage telecom inventory including circuits, mobile devices, DIDs, SIP trunks, broadband services, network connectivity, and telecom assets across the Hertz environment.
- Perform inventory-to-invoice reconciliation to ensure all billed services are accurately reflected within asset repositories and operational records.
- Track and manage service lifecycle activities including provisioning, MACD (Moves, Adds, Changes, Deletes), disconnects, renewals, upgrades, and decommissioning activities.
- Coordinate with telecom carriers, service providers, managed service partners, and vendors to resolve billing disputes, service issues, escalations, and contract-related queries.
- Monitor telecom contracts, renewals, pricing agreements, committed spend obligations, SLAs, and service credit opportunities to ensure financial compliance.
- Prepare telecom spend analysis, cost optimization reports, carrier performance reviews, inventory dashboards, variance reports, and executive-level reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, accrual management, chargeback/showback models, and telecom financial governance processes.
- Maintain telecom asset repositories, CMDB records, contract documentation, billing records, and governance artifacts to support operational accuracy.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Network Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and Vendor Management teams for end-to-end telecom service management.
- Support internal and external audits, compliance reviews, asset verification activities, and telecom governance initiatives.
- Participate in Incident, Request, Change, Problem, and Service Management processes through ServiceNow while adhering to established SLAs and SLOs.
- Drive telecom cost reduction, vendor rationalization, process standardization, automation o pportunities, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Maintain SOPs, process documentation, reporting templates, knowledge articles, and service records to support consistent service delivery.
- Provide executive insights on telecom spending trends, carrier utilization, contract risks, and optimization opportunities to support business decision-making.
