Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Contract Specialist to join our team and drive excellence in contract management, compliance, and procurement processes. The position is responsible for managing and coordinating the company's contracts and related documentation from initial review through completion. This position works closely with project management, estimating, operations, finance, and management to ensure contracts are accurate, properly executed, organized, and compliant with company requirements. This position is available as either a full-time or part-time opportunity. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Review, organize, and maintain company contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and related agreements. Coordinate the contract process from receipt through execution and closeout. Review contracts for key terms, requirements, deadlines, insurance requirements, and other obligations. Track contract status, renewals, expirations, amendments, and required documentation. Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal departments regarding contract-related matters. Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy contract files and records. Assist with certificates of insurance, bonds, licenses, and other required compliance documentation. Monitor contractual requirements and help ensure project teams are aware of important deadlines and obligations. Prepare and process contract amendments, change orders, and other contract-related documents. Assist with billing, invoicing, and documentation requirements associated with contracts. Support management and project teams with contract-related questions and documentation. Communicate with legal counsel or outside parties when contracts require additional review. Maintain contract tracking reports and provide updates to management as needed. Assist with contract closeout and ensure required documentation is complete. Qualifications Previous experience in contract administration, construction administration, project coordination, or a related field. Strong organizational and document-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Ability to understand and follow contractual requirements and company procedures. Experience in the construction, environmental, engineering, or related industry is preferred.
