This role is ideal for a licensed Florida attorney who produces high-quality legal work, communicates effectively with clients and team members, and values flexibility while maintaining professional excellence. The Contract Attorney will work collaboratively with our internal team to draft legal documents, provide legal analysis, and assist with case strategy and client matters as assigned. This position does not include firm management or administrative responsibilities unless otherwise agreed. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and revise estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives Assist with probate and trust administration matters, including pleadings, motions, accountings, and correspondence Conduct legal research and provide written legal analysis as needed Support case strategy development in coordination with the Managing Attorney Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties when required Ensure all work complies with applicable Florida statutes, court rules, and ethical standards Meet assigned deadlines and maintain accurate documentation of work performed Required Qualifications Active Florida Bar license in good standing Minimum 5+ years of experience in Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration, or closely related practice areas Strong legal drafting and analytical skills Familiarity with Florida probate courts and procedures Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Word and legal document management systems (experience with Clio or Westlaw Form Builder platforms is a plus)
