- The Manager of Sales Proposals leads a team of writers within the Proposal department.
- Responsibilities
- + Provide team direction and elevate performance and progress towards reaching business and client goals; clearly communicate roles and expectations and hire and train additional staff, as needed + Review team proposals to identify potential obstacles to success or areas of concern; work with team members, subject matter experts and/or sales to provide potential solutions to address them + Oversee the proposal end-to-end process to ensure process adherence, timeliness, and quality; may manage large, complex projects based on team capacity + Leverage Copilot and proposal management platform AI tools (Responsive, Loopio, etc.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Business or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required + 6 years of work experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management proposals, sales planning and/or sales support + 1 year of leadership/people management experience + Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship •Additional Qualifications•+ Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels across the organization + Strong attention to detail and process + Highly organized and result focused; ability to prioritize work with proven time management skills + Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills + Proven team development skills + Strong ability to present and share information to all levels in an organization + Demonstrated ability to effectively manage change + Advanced Microsoft Office skills •Preferred Qualifications•+ Experience working with all levels in an organization Every employee must understand, comply with and attest to the security responsibilities and security controls unique to their job, and comply with all applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements and internal policies and procedures Every employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and, if requested, reasonable accommodations will be made to enable employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions, absent undue hardship.
