NJ Transit / Verizon Carrier Services Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Billing & Invoicing Transition Lead to lead and manage the transition of existing MSA (Master Services Agreement) Verizon Carrier Services billing and invoicing processes to the T1776 Contract framework . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in billing/invoicing operations, contract transition, process analysis, stakeholder management, and contractual compliance . This role will be responsible for ensuring a smooth migration with minimal disruption to ongoing business operations. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end transition planning and execution of Verizon Carrier Services billing and invoicing from the current MSA to the T1776 Contract framework. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, Verizon teams, Finance, Procurement, and Contract Management to establish requirements, timelines, and deliverables. Analyze existing billing and invoicing processes and identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities . Define and document future-state billing and invoicing workflows aligned with the T1776 Contract. Develop and maintain detailed transition plans, project timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies . Establish effective communication and stakeholder engagement strategies throughout the transition. Validate invoice accuracy, billing rates, rate structures, and contractual terms during the migration. Ensure billing and invoicing processes remain compliant with contractual requirements and agreed-upon pricing structures . Identify and resolve discrepancies between current MSA processes and the T1776 Contract requirements. Partner with Finance and Contract Management teams to ensure accurate implementation of new billing processes. Monitor transition progress and proactively address issues that could impact business continuity or billing operations . Support testing, validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities associated with the transition. Prepare status updates, documentation, and reports for management and key stakeholders. Required Qualifications Proven experience managing billing/invoicing process transitions or contract migrations . Strong understanding of billing operations, invoicing, rate structures, and contract compliance . Experience working with MSA/SOW/contract frameworks and translating contractual requirements into operational processes. Strong business process analysis and workflow documentation skills. Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Finance, Procurement, Contracts, Operations, and external vendors/carriers . Strong project/transition management and stakeholder management skills. Experience with risk identification, mitigation planning, testing, reconciliation, and cutover activities . Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with telecommunications/carrier services billing , preferably Verizon. Experience with large enterprise contract transitions or billing transformations . Familiarity with contract frameworks similar to T1776 . Experience with billing/invoicing systems, ERP platforms, or financial management systems. PMP, CBAP, or related project/business analysis certification is a plus. Work Arrangement Hybrid

•70/hr C2C or 1099 Up to $75/hr may be considered for highly qualified candidates with strong Verizon/carrier billing and contract-transition experience.
