Key Responsibilities Deliver physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disabilities and relieving pain based on individualized plans of care prescribed by our medical team. Oversee the implementation of treatment plans by Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure high-quality service delivery. Conduct thorough evaluations of patient function through diagnostic and prognostic testing to inform tailored treatment strategies. Assess home environments and recommend adjustments to enhance patient independence during rehabilitation. Administer manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, traction, and other physical modalities in accordance with best practices. Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams. Document clinical records meticulously, including initial assessments, care plans, and progress updates, to facilitate cohesive patient management. Engage in interdisciplinary team collaborations to contribute to comprehensive treatment planning and reviews. Educate patients and their families on therapy protocols and ensure correct usage of devices as part of their recovery journey. Complete functional assessments routinely, revising treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes. Maintain open communication with patients, their families, and other medical staff to ensure the best patient experience. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and range from those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. Our focus is on delivering personalized and effective treatment plans that cater to the specific rehabilitation needs of each patient, promoting not only physical recovery but also emotional well-being through compassionate care. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred. Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey with a clean record, reflecting no history of sanctions. A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques backed by extensive clinical experience. Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate and efficient documentation. Current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and therapeutic interventions, supported by relevant research. Preferred Experience Experience working in rehabilitation settings with an emphasis on outpatient therapy. A track record of developing successful exercise programs customized for individual patient needs. Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy modalities and technologies. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, vision, and pharmacy benefits with affordable premiums.
