This is a temporary role approved for 3 months in duration with a likelihood of an extension. Work is 8 hours/day for 40 hours/week. Work is 100% remote but candidates must work during standard ET business hours.
Position requires:
(a) a law degree or MBA; (b) 5+ years of experience working for a large organization negotiating complex procurement and technology contracts; (c) experience with Ariba or similar contract management software. Hourly pay rate of $85-95/hr (DOE) + full benefits (health insurance, 401K, etc).

DoctoralResponsibilities Draft, prepare and review contract documents in accordance with established company policies and procedures designed to minimize potential exposure while maximizing benefits. Independently lead all aspects of advanced, complex supplier contract negotiations by negotiating all key terms of a variety of contract documents, including but not limited to legal and business terms to provide the appropriate level of risk mitigation as well as value for the enterprise. Analyze all contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, corporate policies and business unit procedures and requirements.
