This position is seeking a Senior Contracts Negotiator to lead several efforts across the Multi-Doman Combat Systems (MDCS) Market Segment. This individual will be responsible for leading contract negotiations, all day-to-day contractual execution and oversight, ensuring that all obligations are met as well as providing ad-hoc contracts support as needed for efforts within the Maritime Integrated Air & Missile Defense (MIAMD) subsegment. The candidate must be a strategic thinker, able to effectively coordinate with Lockheed Martin program, technical, and business management teams and have the ability to work independently.WHY JOIN US

Bachelors degree or higher with 5 or more years of experience Contract life cycle experience including proposals, negotiations, administration, and closeout Develop, negotiate, and execute contracts Possess basic working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) Analytical thinking, risk analysis, and problem-solving skills.Desired Skills:
Prior experience with USG cost estimating and exposure to finance analysis is desired. Some experience with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting and a willingness to learn. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of various contract types ( CPFF, CPIF, FFP, FPIF, T&M, OTA) Ability to work independently and Task oriented and attention to detail Experience working in a fast paced environment Positivity and enthusiasm attitude; working collaboratively within teams. Proven exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action. Knowledge of Government property management, data rights, and proposals. Complete understanding and application of Government contracting principles, concepts, practices, and standards.Security Clearance Statement:

The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $109,200- $189,290.

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000- $167,440.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
