This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). The ideal candidate is available 40 hours per week but we're also open to considering part-time (~20 hours per week) We are seeking an experienced Telephony Consultant to support a strategic initiative focused on evaluating and negotiating enterprise telephony and Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS) agreements. This consultant will serve as a trusted advisor, helping optimize licensing, reduce costs, identify contract risks, and ensure the organization achieves the best commercial outcomes during contract renewals and extensions. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial negotiations for enterprise telephony and cloud contact center platform agreements. Assess current telephony and CCaaS environments to determine the minimum licensing and product requirements needed during the extension period. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with telecommunications and contact center vendors. Analyze and evaluate competitive alternatives to support informed business decisions. Identify contractual, financial, and operational risks within proposed extension agreements. Provide recommendations to optimize costs, improve contract flexibility, and maximize business value. Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to develop negotiation strategies and vendor management plans. Required Qualifications Deep expertise with cloud contact center platforms, including: Genesys Cloud CX Talkdesk Five9 NICE CXone Amazon Connect RingCentral Proven experience negotiating enterprise telephony and CCaaS contracts. Strong understanding of licensing models, vendor pricing structures, and contract terms. Experience conducting vendor assessments and evaluating alternative solutions. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Ability to identify commercial, contractual, and operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Preferred Qualifications Experience leading large-scale telecommunications or contact center transformation initiatives. Background in strategic sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or technology consulting. Familiarity with enterprise contact center operations and customer experience technologies.
