Job Description
When you join Babcock Power, you will be part of a team that innovates and designs sustainable solutions in the power generation industry. Our goal is to extend the life and improve the performance of existing boilers. To support this goal, our manufacturing site, Boiler Tube of America , (BTA) manufactures replacement pressure boiler components and auxiliary industrial boiler parts for boilers. We are currently seeking a Proposal Manager for our manufacturing site in Lyman, SC. This position is responsible for leading proposal efforts to support booking and margin objectives. As a Proposal Manager you will: Work cross-functionally with sales, manufacturing representatives and the management team to analyze the market environment to determine the appropriate pricing strategy for the products. Review and audit the customer technical specifications on the proposals for compliance with the contract and delivery requirements. Obtain data and information from other key functions such as procurement, quality and legal team as needed so materials and delivery times meet the customer requirements. Perform internal and corporate reviews of proposals prior to submittal to ensure proposals are in -line with monetary thresholds. Requirements To be considered
Education:
Engineering or Business 4-year degree preferred.Experience:
Experience in the Power Industry preferred.
