Job Description

Frontier Development, Inc. (FDI) is seeking an experienced Construction/Contract Manager to join our team in Eunice, New Mexico. This position reports directly to VP of Operations, and plays a key role in managing contracts and construction operations across our pipeline and heavy civil project portfolio.

Will Wallace IV, VP of Operations About the Role The Construction/Contract Manager will oversee contract administration, project execution, and field coordination for pipeline and heavy civil construction operations based out of our Eunice regional office. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives managing multiple moving pieces — from subcontractor agreements to project schedules to client relationships. Key Responsibilities Manage and administer construction contracts for pipeline operations from award through closeout Review, draft, and negotiate subcontractor and vendor agreements Track contract compliance, change orders, and scope modifications Coordinate with project superintendents and field crews to ensure work aligns with contract terms and schedule Monitor project budgets, billing, and cost controls in coordination with operations leadership Support bid preparation and proposal development for pipeline and civil projects Maintain accurate contract documentation and project records Communicate regularly with ownership/operations leadership on project status, risks, and contract issues Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements on all managed projects Required Qualifications Proven experience in contract management for pipeline operations (required) Strong background in heavy civil or pipeline construction project management Solid understanding of contract terms, change order processes, and risk management Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/contracts simultaneously Proficiency with contract management and project tracking tools (MS Office/Excel required; construction management software a plus) Preferred Qualifications Experience working directly with clients/owners on pipeline or utility infrastructure projects Familiarity with federal, state, or regional regulatory requirements affecting pipeline construction Prior experience in a similar Construction/Contract Manager role Frontier Development, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
