Job Description

Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for a Subcontract Administrator for their Grand Prairie, TX/Remote location.

Responsibilities:

The Material Buyer supports PAC-3 procurement execution by developing and administering purchase orders for specialized materials, equipment, and services.

The Buyer prepares bid packages, solicits and evaluates supplier proposals, negotiates pricing and delivery terms, and awards purchase orders within established authority.

The Buyer will prioritize schedule and best value in support of the PAC-3 ramp, coordinate closely with SEMAC, GSC, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and suppliers, and resolve procurement roadblocks affecting production. Responsibilities also include processing PO changes, maintaining accurate SAP data, tracking supplier commitments, and supporting delivery recovery actions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree from Accredited university

2 years experience in working in Procurement and/or Overseeing clients/customers/suppliers.

2+ years professional experience using Microsoft Office, SAP

Communication, written & verbal

Procurement/Commercial, business acumen and analytical skills

Strong procurement/commercial, business acumen, financial control and analytical skills.

Experience in working in multi-functional organizations and a proven ability to achieve profession and business goals.

Capable of operating to tight schedules in a dynamic work environment.

Confident self-starter, with an ability to innovate and think laterally, work confidently both individually and as part of a team.

Ability to work within established processes and procedures.
