Job Description

Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most demanding challenges.   • Nightwing seeks an experienced Price to Win (PTW) practitioner with a proven track record of successful price predictions and a thorough knowledge of the competitive marketspace for the Defense and Intelligence Services business.

  • The ideal candidate has strong data modeling skills, knows how to gather open-source competitive intelligence and apply that intelligence to specific pursuits. The role requires supporting competitive pursuits across the Nightwing enterprise, and interfacing with key stakeholders of the organization, including briefing C-suite leaders on competitive assessments and recommendations.
  • The PTW Analyst will be an individual contributor and will support pursuit teams at various stages of proposal development, from pre-RFP sizing to final RFP PTW target establishment.
The Analyst will analyze relevant RFP documents and ensure their recommendations align with the structure of the established bidding parameters. General understanding of Government Pricing regulations is preferred, to include contract types, rate structures, labor regulations.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Price to Win models to support strategic bids and proposals
  • Conduct competitive assessments, including analysis of competitor pricing behavior, strengths, and positioning
  • Build detailed cost models, including labor, materials, indirect rates, and profit strategies
  • Recommend pricing strategies aligned with customer expectations, acquisition approach, and solution value
  • Support bid/no-bid decisions with financial and competitive insights
  • Collaborate with capture and proposal teams throughout the opportunity lifecycle
  • Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to support decisions
  • Present pricing strategies and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procurement regulations and company policies
  • Support post-submission analysis, including win/loss assessments and lessons learned
  • Maintain a library of win/loss data to support decisions
  • Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, proposal support, or Price to Win
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills (advanced Microsoft Excel required)
  • Experience supporting competitive proposals (e.g., RFP responses)
  • Understanding of pricing strategies and cost structures
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in U.
S. Government contracting and familiarity with
FAR/DFARS
  • Knowledge of contract types such as Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Cost Plus, and Time & Materials
  • Experience with estimating tools (e.g., PROPRICER, SEER)
  • Familiarity with proposal development methodologies such as those from Shipley Associates
  • MBA or advanced degree
