Altamira has an open position for a highly qualified and talented Contracts Manager, with proven record and performance in the U.S. Government contracting role at our Corporate Headquarters in McLean, VA or at Warrenton, VA location. As a member of the Contracts Staff reporting to the Director of Contracts and Pricing, this role will participate in proposal development, contracting / subcontracting / pricing strategy, execution, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and coordinate contracts and subcontracts including modifications; review and negotiate terms and conditions in accordance with corporate guidance and government regulations. Manage all proposal and contract activities related to new business acquisition; Responsible for timely, complete and effective preparation of proposals including pricing and cost volume. Draft and manage contractual documents and correspondence for prime and subcontracts, Prepare and review various agreements including non-disclosure, teaming, Subcontract, Consulting, Task Orders, Professional Services, etc Prepare responses to representations and certifications. Assemble and submit deliverable data per contract requirements. Interface with customer contract points of contact and subcontractors for all issues. Maintain contracts, subcontracts, and pricing databases within prescribed systems.
Position Requirements:
Active TS/SCI required. CI Poly and/or Full-Scope Poly clearance preferred. Must be able to maintain clearance level throughout employment. Minimum of 10 years of experience in review, preparation, negotiation and monitoring of federally funded proposals, subcontracts, and contracts. Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation, Truth in Negotiations Act, and a working knowledge of International Traffic and Arms Regulation Mid-level or better experience with Excel, preferably in pricing and subcontractor negotiations. Excellent communication (oral and written) and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a high-paced, secured environment. Some travel may be required.
Preferred Experience/Knowledge:
Bachelors degree in business administration, contracts management or related discipline - additional years of relative experience above 5 may be substituted for a degree. Experience pricing federally funded proposals. Experience working in secure program areas. General knowledge of Deltek software. The anticipated salary range for this position is $150,000 to $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, the scope of the position, relevant experience, education, certifications, internal equity, customer contractual requirements, security clearance requirements, and other legitimate business considerations.
