Job Description

Description One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking experienced Mid-Level Contract Support Specialists to provide comprehensive federal acquisition and contracting support to a potential government client. The selected candidates will support activities throughout the federal acquisition lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award administration, modifications, and contract closeout. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive acquisition and contract support throughout the federal acquisition lifecycle. Support acquisition planning and strategy development. Conduct research and analysis of technical, contractual, and cost/price information. Review and assist with the development of acquisition requirements and supporting documentation. Assist with the development and review of Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs). Prepare and review solicitations, amendments, and other acquisition documentation for compliance with applicable regulations. Support proposal evaluations and negotiations in accordance with FAR requirements. Conduct pricing analysis and assist with developing price reasonableness recommendations. Support contract awards and ensure appropriate documentation is prepared and maintained. Assist Contracting Officers and Contract Specialists with modifications, change orders, supplemental agreements, delivery orders, and related acquisition actions. Monitor contract performance and assist with resolving post-award issues. Conduct policy and regulatory research to support acquisition-related decision-making. Coordinate with leadership, customers, technical personnel, and other stakeholders throughout the acquisition process. Support contract closeout and other administrative acquisition activities as required. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree OR at least 24 semester hours in relevant fields such as business, finance, law, contracting, or economics. Minimum of three years of recent relevant acquisition support experience within the last five years. Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulation (VAAR), Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO), and other applicable federal acquisition policies and regulations. Solid understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle. Experience conducting research and analysis of technical and cost/price information. Ability to interpret federal acquisition policies and regulations and provide informed business advice and recommendations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, technical personnel, leadership, and other stakeholders. Must be a U.S. citizen. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. Preferred Qualifications Previous Department of Veterans Affairs acquisition or contracting experience. Experience working with VAAR in addition to FAR. Experience with federal acquisition systems such as eCMS, FMS/IFAMS, IFCAP, IPPS, SAM.gov, FPDS-NG, and GSA eBuy/Advantage. Experience supporting IGCE development, price analysis, contract modifications, post-award administration, and contract closeout. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint.
