We have an exciting opportunity for a Bids and Contracts Administrator located in Fond du Lac, WI.
How You Will Contribute:
You will be responsible for reviewing, revising, and processing contracts for our fire protection division. You will communicate directly with internal and external stakeholders regarding the contracts that you are working on. You will work directly under the supervision of the corporate attorney and collaboratively with other veteran members of our bids and contracts team. This Is What We Are Looking for:
We are looking for someone who can perform the following: Review contracts, subcontracts, terms & conditions, NDAs, etc to determine if the terms are the same or different as prior documents
Prepare and process contract modifications following prior mark-ups Review contract documents for accuracy and compliance with Ahern procedures, signature approvals, and insurance requirements
Act as a central point of contact with external and internal stakeholders to answer questions and resolve issues related to contract documents
Organize, administer, maintain, and track all Ahern contracts in the contract management system
Generate and execute subcontracts per company policy
Update records of all correspondence related to contract activity
Assist in other areas of support of the corporate attorney as necessary This is the Skillset that
You Need:
To be successful in this job, the following skillset is required: Impeccable attention to detail and organization skills
Strong reading and comprehension skills
Ability to comfortably and independently manage a large number of diverse tasks and deadlines
Excellent customer service & communication skills; in person, over the phone, and via email
Team player mentality willing to help out other members of the team as necessary
Positive referrals and references
Strong intermediate (or higher) skills with MS Office and Bluebeam To be successful in this job, the following skillset is desired: Prior experience or training in contract administration OR other office administration requiring a high level of detail
Experience reading contract language
Working knowledge of property and casualty insurance
Bachelor's degree in a business field or 3+ years of experience working in an office environment
Customer service experience
