Job Description

Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer comprehensive end-to-end support and advisory services, covering areas such as valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. The team works closely with clients at every stage of their journey, helping them navigate challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and implement practical solutions before, during, and after major transformational projects or transactions creating lasting impact. As a Senior Consultant within M&A Strategy & Governance (S&G), you will support clients through integration and divestiture activities that drive transition readiness and long-term value. This role sits within Deloitte's M&A Offering and focuses on helping organizations respond to transaction opportunities, execute separation or integration priorities, and accelerate transformation. Work You'll Do As a Senior Consultant in M&A S&G, as part of the M&A Integration & Divestiture (I&D) team, you will be responsible for:
  • Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution and synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions.
  • Participating in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks.
  • Building and selecting the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business cases, pricing or complex financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions.
  • Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives. A successful candidate would possess these skills:
