JOB SUMMARY
Salary range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually, plus potential bonus. Holland is seeking a collaborative and eager multi-family real estate development professional to join our dedicated Northern California team in Oakland, California. The Development Analyst is responsible for monitoring and reporting on key metrics, conducting market research and the financial analysis of projects in accordance with Holland Partner Group's Core Values.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Prepare and maintain proforma and detailed budgets of development opportunities. Conduct ad-hoc market and financial analysis. Prepare and maintain dashboards and key market metrics with a focus on forecast accuracy and market trends. Perform market research and analysis of demographics, market demand, and completion related to development opportunities. Manage the assembly of financing package for development deals as needed. Conduct research on a variety of development financing structures as well as regulatory environment, policy tools and programs. In the due diligence and conceptual design phase, evaluate the property and its development potential, and identify areas of risk. Assist with preparing the compilation of proposals and statements of qualifications to secure competitive development opportunities. Monitor project performance and status and update internal reporting within the development portfolios as needed. Assist the with the execution of additional projects as needed. Represent Holland Partner Group in a professional manner at all times. Conform to company apparel standards and set a positive example for all Associates. Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education :
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent required. Master's Degree in related field preferred.Experience :
Six months experience in real estate, finance, development or related field required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Remarkable proficiency in financial analysis. Exceptional Excel skills, competency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Entrepreneurial aptitude combined with a strong work ethic and the desire to learn. Ability to read, understand and explain complex legal contracts and financial documents. Aptitude to quickly and efficiently learn new software and databases. Dedicated team player who is flexible and adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment. Well organized and able to balance multiple and diverse priorities while delivering quality product. Ability to think strategically and possess sound problem solving ability. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of the entitlement and closing process. Knowledge of the real estate development process (including financial analysis/feasibility, debt and equity procurement, due diligence, facilitation and analysis, entitlement, product design, construction, financing, sales, and marketing).Attendance :
This full-time position is exempt and requires the ability to be present and available during business hours to meet company and department needs. Additional hours or flexible schedule may be required.This position also requires:
Travel and overnight stays. Flexibility in days and hours worked. Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds. Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergency situations. Fluency in English both verbally and non-verbally.Benefits:
