Lead a team of Advisors to serve Media and Communications graduates from all new and existing Media and Communications programs in pursuing employment in the field in which they studied. Reports to the Director and Associate Director of Career Development. Directs and manages industry specific team(s) of Advisors and Assistant(s).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Trains new personnel and guides all team members in growth. Provides vision and direction for team and department initiatives. Directs regular team meetings to review priority leads and address other team needs/business/ideas. Oversees VIP visits and participates when and where appropriate. Lectures when needed in appropriate and assigned classes on behalf of CDD. Conducts Personnel Reviews. Encourages and participates actively in Industry Outreach mission. Remains cognizant of Employment Statistics requirements each year and oversees Stat Campaign participation for individual team. Addresses graduate/parent unresolved concerns. Addresses and guides personnel issues, both positive and negative. Handles prospective student requests from Admissions when needed. Attends local industry conferences and campus presentations when appropriate. Tracks team and individual member performance through activity reports.

Previous Management experience. Excellent written and oral communications skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at one time. Working knowledge of entertainment, media and technology industries. Working knowledge of computers and Internet researching. Self-motivated. Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor degree preferred. Prior experience in the Entertainment, Media and Technology industries is required. Some human resource and/or management experience is helpful.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
N/A Computer/Equipment Skills:
Proficiency using software programs such as PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, DropBox, Zoom, Salesforce. Mac OS proficiency preferred.
Environmental Factors/Physical Demands:
