Novelis is seeking an Account Manager to support our North America Beverage Packaging team, based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be instrumental in protecting and growing our business by expanding existing accounts, creating new opportunities, and delivering profitable commercial growth. The Account Manager will own customer strategy, build relationships across customer organizations, and actively influence demand. The role also requires a strong technical ability to support product qualifications, commercialization activities, and customer discussions in close partnership with Technical Services, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain. Responsibilities Own and grow strategic beverage packaging accounts, with accountability for customer strategy, revenue growth, profitability, and overall account performance. Develop and implement customer-specific growth plans that expand existing business, identify new applications, and increase market share. Build a strong pipeline of opportunities by understanding customer priorities, market demand, competitive dynamics, and Novelis capabilities. Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, contract alignment, and value-based selling initiatives. Serve as a trusted customer partner while proactively finding opportunities to create demand and strengthen Novelis' commercial position. Partner with Technical Services, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to lead product qualifications, trials, commercialization, and resolution of technical or quality issues. Translate customer technical requirements into clear internal actions and communicate Novelis' product capabilities and value proposition effectively. Forecast and track volume, assess account profitability, and use data and market intelligence to guide commercial decisions. Represent the voice of the customer internally and influence cross-functional priorities without direct authority. Support new product development, innovation, recycling, and sustainability initiatives that create mutual customer and business value. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. 7+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, account growth, or commercial management within a manufacturing, industrial, or related B2B environment. Demonstrated success expanding existing accounts, winning new business, and delivering measurable revenue or market-share growth. Experience owning customer strategy, commercial negotiations, pricing, and profitability discussions. Technical proficiency and experience supporting product qualifications, trials, commercialization, or customer technical discussions. Strong analytical and financial skill, with the ability to evaluate commercial performance and translate insights into action. Demonstrated ability to engage customers at multiple organizational levels and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Experience collaborating with operations, supply chain, quality, technical, product development, or R&D teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Sales or business development experience in aluminum, metals, packaging, or another technically complex manufacturing industry. Experience with beverage packaging customers, products, or markets. Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, product development, or technical qualification requirements.
