Collaborates with others in the leadership team to facilitate adjustments that meet department need. Commits to the hours needed to achieve outcomes and develop others to assure round-the-clock leadership. Requires flexibility with hours worked and shifting priorities as the environment changes. Serves as a resource in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of emergency care in the clinical departments. Assists in creating a positive work environment that contributes to safe and positive clinical outcomes. Assists with providing a thorough and adequate orientation program for new staff . Lead competency training, CQI, and continuing education programming to ensure staff development needs are met for the department. Completes EMS schedule and payroll Participate in Jones County EMS meetings when needed, also a voting member for Anamosa Area Ambulance Service. Assist with drug box checks, maintenance on ambulances, ensuring supplies and equipment are stocked and maintained.

Supports the adequate competency training and continuing education programming is done to meet identified staff development needs. Supports department and hospital shared governance infrastructure and staff engagement. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED Iowa Paramedic License Iowa Driver's License 2+ years of leadership experience

Writes, reads, speaks, and comprehends fluent English Excellent knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols Ability to successfully complete basic computer course; develops and maintains necessary computer skills including ImageTrend, Aladtec, Word and Excel.
