The Role As a vital part of our Retail team, you will act as a bridge across member services, sales, technology, operations, and compliance. You aren't just managing a branch; you are seamlessly connecting sales and business development with technical and operational integration. You'll represent Liberty Bay at community events, drive marketing efforts, and lead our branch office teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality service.

What You'll Do Drive Growth:

Deliver exceptional member experiences, execute business development activities, and hit quarterly branch targets.

Lead & Mentor:

Recruit, develop, and coach branch personnel (including supervisors, tellers, and financial service representatives) to foster a high-energy team culture.

Lead Strategic Projects:

Serve as the primary project lead for banking system upgrades, including overseeing branch readiness, system testing, data extraction, and staff training. Bridge the

Gap:

Act as the liaison between retail and member service teams to streamline operations, including the integration of overflow call processing.

Ensure Operational Excellence:

Manage teller line operations (cash/negotiable instruments control), audit cash handling, and maintain strict adherence to banking regulations (BSA/AML, CIP, privacy laws) and security protocols.

Maximize Relationships:

Create and maintain a cross-selling environment, identifying opportunities to expand member relationships via referrals to specialized partners like Mortgages and Commercial Lending.

Resolve & Represent:

Handle complex member escalations and act as a brand ambassador for Liberty Bay through community-focused initiatives. Requirements Who You Are (Qualifications & Requirements)

Education:

Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Leadership Experience:

2-3 years of Management experience in Retail Banking.

Technical Expertise:

A proven history of system conversion experience within a financial institution is required. Hands-on experience with modern core banking systems (e.g., Fiserv DNA, Corelation) is highly preferred. Experience with XP2 and COOP Shared Branching is a plus!

Business Development:

A solid track record of driving sales and growth in the banking or credit union industry.

The Logistics Schedule:

37.5-40 hours per week, with rotating weekend hours required.

Hours:

Monday-Friday (8:30 AM

•4:30 PM); Saturday (9:00 AM

•1:00 PM).

Travel:

Ability to travel between our branches (Braintree, Scituate, and Hingham) as staffing needs dictate.

Salary Range:

$75,000
