Job Description
Sales Leadership & Advisor Development | Hunt Valley, MD| Full-Time The Role We are seeking a high-performing Leadership Director who has built a successful financial advisory practice and is ready to lead others to the same level of achievement. This role is for someone with real-world credibility, strong business instincts, and the ability to influence, coach, and elevate people in a high-performance environment. You will recruit, develop, and lead a team of financial advisors while shaping culture, accountability, and growth. You will help advisors translate potential into production, build stronger practices, and raise the standard for client experience across the firm. This role is best suited for a leader who knows how to create momentum, earn trust quickly, and build something bigger than their own practice.
Compensation:
$129,000 at plan earningsResponsibilities:
What You'll Do Recruiting & Team Growth Lead recruiting efforts aligned with the firm's growth strategy and high-performance culture Personally source experienced and emerging advisor talent through referrals, networking, and proactive outreach Evaluate candidates for sales capability, mindset, coachability, and cultural alignment Partner closely with recruiting and leadership teams throughout the selection process Advisor Leadership & Development Coach advisors on prospecting, client acquisition, case development, and long-term practice growth Provide hands-on leadership around planning opportunities, business strategy, and closing support Lead team meetings that turn training into execution and execution into results Set clear expectations around activity, pipeline discipline, appointments, and production—and hold people accountable Help advisors fully leverage the firm's planning, operational, and support resources Culture & Performance Reinforce a culture built on ambition, integrity, service, and continuous improvement Partner with firm leadership on performance initiatives, advisor development, and business planning Support compliance, continuing education, and firm standards across the advisor teamQualifications:
What Makes You a Great Fit Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field preferred Proven success building and operating a profitable financial advisory practice Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing advisors Series 7 and 66 preferred but will consider Series 6 and 63/65.
