General Manager - Montauk State Park Lead a destination where hospitality meets the outdoors. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead all aspects of operations, including lodging, food & beverage, retail, and guest services. Key Responsibilities Lead daily operations and execute company strategies to improve quality, service, safety, and financial performance. Develop and mentor departmental managers to strengthen leadership, team performance, and problem-solving. Drive revenue growth through strong financial management and the development of new business opportunities across lodging, F&B, retail, and recreation. Prepare and analyze financial reports; recommend and implement corrective actions. Support marketing and sales efforts that increase visibility, occupancy, and overall park revenue. Ensure compliance with all park contract requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies, including safety and environmental programs. Oversee HR functions, employee housing, training, and labor compliance. Maintain asset management programs and positive community relations. Apply knowledge of recreational activities—such as trout fishing—to support guest programming and retail/facility planning as needed. •In addition to salary, we offer competitive benefits and the potential for a performance-based bonus. Short term housing may also be available. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field. 5-7 years of hospitality management experience, ideally with retail, lodging, and F&B oversight. Proven leadership, financial management, and analytical skills. Strong communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with regular physical activity. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; POS familiarity preferred. Pay:
$73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
