Site BD ExcellenceSeniorManager will be passionate about creating a culture of operational and customer excellence, implementing change, and driving ContinuousImprovement(CI) across the site through deploying BD Excellence program.Ensurescompliance with BD quality systems, policies,proceduresand best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations,policiesand procedures. Duties/ Responsibilities:
Lead strategy deployment (SD). Ensure strategic alignment through cascading Key Performance Indicators (KPIs') top down and bottom up. Support site leadership team increating strategic vision of improvement goals, site master plan (deployment roadmap and maturity expectations based on prior ities). Supportovernance process acrossrelevant BD Excellence components. Partner with plant Leadership team and Business Unit Managers/Leader to co-develop and execute the plant's implementation of the BD Excellence and Cost to Win plan/budget. Coach the plant leadership team, with regards to BD Excellence, with focus on external and internal benchmarking. Develop and mentor zero loss mindset across criticalareas to optimize quality, delivery and cost while improving safety. Develop and grow capability through components and component teams to establish thefundamentals of excellence in safety, quality, and reliability. Coach and guide siteto ensure focus of resources and time on priorities. Coordinate BD Excellence components deployment. Continue to drive BD Excellence capability development through deployment of progressively advanced aspects ofcomponent methodologies. Achieve long term CI objectives through cross functional alignment of all resources toward shared goals. Teach, coach, and demonstrate proficiency in BD Excellence concepts and systematic approach, including strategy development & deployment (SDD), core components,Zero Loss mindset and all related methodologies/tools. Lead and facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events. Lead the Focused Improvement component team. Develop and grow problem solving capability at all levels. Drive collaboration w ith site leadership team to generate,sustain, and deliver a multi-year Cost to Win (CTW) portfolio, oversee governance processes, and optimization of the site loss landscape. Coordinate activity of all component teams and focused improvement project teams to eliminate loss, according to strategic goals. Meet or exceed CtW (Cost to Win) goalsthrough leading and/or supporting Focused Improvement team savings projects driven by loss awareness and maturing loss landscape. Create and manage CI budget. Immediate supervisor of BD ExcellenceManager. Flexible and able to travel. Expected travel up to 25%. Other duties asrequiredto support the needs of the business.Education :
Bachelor's degree inengineeringor relevant fieldrequired.Experience:
Seven years' manufacturing experience/leadership experience in a plantrequired. Three years' experienceoperatinga production systemrequired. Certified or recognized as a Production System practitionerrequired. Previousexperience in implementing, and strong knowledge of, Lean and Six Sigma business systems required. Six sigma green or black belt certification preferred. Experience of working in a multi-site and multi-cultural environmentrequired.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated passion for safety, customercentricityand operational excellence. Excellent understanding of the interaction between operational excellence and customer service Strongtrack recordin project or program management Verbal and written communication skills with people at all levels- Advanced Business acumen and ability to display the linkage between projectsanddesired business results
