Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Senior Project Director to lead and oversee large-scale, complex infrastructure and commercial mega-projects from inception through completion. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of mega-projects by establishing clear objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Manage and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including design review, procurement, construction scheduling, and commissioning. Oversee project teams comprising engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless collaboration and communication. Utilize advanced project management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Prolog, and HeavyBid to develop schedules, track progress, and control costs effectively. Review construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications and regulations. Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance and quality assurance while managing construction regulatory adherence. Control project budgets through detailed cost management strategies; prepare reports on project status for stakeholders. Coordinate construction schedule updates using tools like Civil 3D and Primavera P6 to optimize workflow efficiency. Ensure all projects meet legal requirements related to permits, environmental standards, and safety regulations. Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to secure contracts that align with project goals. Drive project leadership initiatives by managing risk assessments, resolving conflicts swiftly, and maintaining high team morale. Qualifications Extensive experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects with a proven track record of success in a senior leadership role. Deep knowledge of construction management software including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite and other industry-standard tools. Strong expertise in construction estimating, schedule coordination, cost management, contract administration and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics (including Civil 3D), technical drawings and schematics essential for accurate project execution. Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively across multiple projects simultaneously. In-depth understanding of construction safety standards and regulatory requirements governing large infrastructure developments. Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate contracts confidently while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships. Construction site experience is essential; familiarity with managing complex infrastructure or heavy civil projects is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on time management to meet aggressive deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards.
