Senior Director, Physician Services Location:
Las Cruces, NM 88011
Salary:
$130-150k base + fixed relocation bonus (2-year commitment, paid in installments) Position Overview Lead physician practice management for Health, driving operational/financial performance, strategic integration, and professional development. Oversee market directors/managers, acquisitions, budgets, and EMR strategies while collaborating across hospital/group levels to optimize employed physician services. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership for all physician practice operations, policies, and strategic initiatives. Manage financial/operational performance; prepare budgets, variance reports, and corrective actions. Supervise market directors/managers; conduct practice visits and staffing assessments. Lead due diligence for practice acquisitions; coordinate post-acquisition integration. Develop training/orientation programs, skills assessments, and talent development with HR. Ensure EMR optimization, Meaningful Use compliance, and regulatory adherence. Serve as liaison with hospital CEO, group president, and physician services; recommend improvements. Monitor employment agreements and oversee startups for new practices. Must-Haves Bachelor's degree AND graduation from a Health Care Management or Business Administration program (required). 10+ years managing physician practices (required). Live in Las Cruces, NM area or willing to relocate within 45 days (required). Ability to travel infrequently (
