Grey Fox Capital maintains a strong development pipeline of real estate projects throughout Northeast and Southwest Ohio. In addition to Build to Rent development, Grey Fox also holds a 5-property portfolio of opportunistic value-add residential projects, transacting on 1-2 value-add opportunities per year. About theRole:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Asset Management Analyst to join our team and support the performance optimization of a diverse portfolio of commercial and/or residential real estate assets. This role is ideal for a highly analytical professional who thrives on financial modeling, market research, and cross-functional collaboration with property management, acquisitions, and finance teams. You will play a key role in driving asset-level strategy, monitoring property performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance value across the portfolio.Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models, including cash flow projections, valuations, and return analyses (IRR, NPV, cap rates) for individual assets and the overall portfolio
- Prepare quarterly and annual asset performance and investor reports, including variance analysis against budget and business plan projections
- Assist in the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets in coordination with property management teams
- Monitor property-level KPIs (occupancy, rent growth, NOI, expense ratios) and flag deviations from forecast
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform leasing, capital improvement, and disposition strategies
- Support due diligence for acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancing transactions, including underwriting and market analysis
- Track loan compliance, covenants, and debt service coverage ratios; liaise with lenders as needed
- Support capital markets transactions, including debt financing and refinancing, joint venture structuring, and equity raises — coordinating with lenders, brokers, and legal counsel through closing
- Assist with the preparation of investor and stakeholder reporting materials, including presentations and portfolio summaries
- Collaborate with property management, leasing, and construction teams to monitor capital projects and lease up progress
- Maintain and update asset management databases, dashboards, and reporting templates
- Assist senior team members with strategic initiatives, including hold/sell analysis and business plan updates
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate asset management, investment analysis, financial analysis, or a related field (internship experience considered for entry-level candidates)
- Experience with real estate software platforms (e.g., Entrata, Yardi, Apartment IQ)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
- Familiarity with real estate valuation concepts (NOI, cap rates, IRR, cash-on-cash returns)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines

- Exposure to commercial or multifamily property types
- Working knowledge of loan documents, leases, and partnership agreements
