Division Interiors and Structures Shift First Shift Job Summary Job Summary Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through line managers and supervisors. Develops and provides leadership to institutionalize the processes of Continuous Quality Improvement in accordance with organization goals and objectives. Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities Responsible for the complete cost, technical and schedule performance of major company programs. Leads the proposal and contract negotiating team and directs all phases of programs and projects from inception through completion; has total program responsibility. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with the customer to discuss cost, schedule and technical performance. Leads or participates in proposal preparation, business plans proposal work statements and development of technical and administrative specifications, operating budgets and the financial terms and conditions of the contract. Establishes design concepts, criteria and engineering efforts for product development, integration and test. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions such as allocation of resources or changing contract specifications. Directs the work of Stakeholders assigned to the program or project from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas. Develops new business and/or expands the product line with the customer. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, client, or others. Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications and departments other than the primary assignment. Minimum Qualifications Education Requirements Minimum 4 Year / Bachelors Degree. Technical discipline. If applicable, a combination of experience and training may be substituted for the education requirement. Experience Requirements 10 or more year(s) Related experience.
