ABOUT GEIST CONSULTING
Founded in 2017, Geist Consulting LLC is a healthcare-technology channel-partner marketing and business development company. Our Medical Practice Solutions Division (MPSD) works with technologies including Remote Patient Monitoring, Chronic Care Management, AI documentation and scribe solutions, telemedicine, specialty software, and other practice-level healthcare technologies. Consultants are not expected to become technical product experts or independently close complex healthcare-technology transactions. Their focus is on opening doors, developing relationships, identifying appropriate interest, and connecting qualified prospects with experienced technology partners who provide deeper product, technical, implementation, workflow, and closing expertise.
RESEARCHED TERRITORIES. QUALIFIED OPPORTUNITIES.
Geist provides researched territories and qualified physician-practice prospects, supported by our proprietary GETIS™ and PRISM™ market-intelligence systems. This allows Consultants to spend more of their available field time developing professional relationships and following up with qualified opportunities rather than building prospect lists from scratch.
THE CONSULTANT ROLE
Executive Healthcare Consultants professionally develop relationships with medical practices and healthcare decision-makers within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting professional in-person visits with assigned physician practices and smaller medical groups. Developing relationships with physicians, practice administrators, office managers, and other appropriate decision-makers. Introducing approved Geist-supported healthcare technologies and identifying potential interest. Moving qualified opportunities toward technology-partner presentations. Participating in scheduled coaching, pipeline review, and Consultant meetings. Communicating consistently with Geist management regarding opportunities, territory progress, questions, and challenges. Following approved healthcare compliance, privacy, marketing, and professional-conduct requirements. Geist's field-development philosophy emphasizes C.P.C. - Communication / Persistency / and Consistency. Strong healthcare relationships are often developed over multiple professional contacts, and Consultants are supported throughout that process.
FLEXIBILITY WITH PROFESSIONAL STRUCTURE
This is a 1099 independent-contractor opportunity designed to provide meaningful scheduling flexibility. Consultants should initially be prepared to commit approximately 10 hours per week , with approximately five of those hours available during normal business hours when physician practices and their decision-makers are accessible. Consultants generally control how they organize their schedules while meeting established territory, communication, reporting, meeting, compliance, and performance expectations.
TRAINING AND FIELD READINESS
Geist provides structured onboarding and training before a Consultant independently enters the field. New Consultants complete company onboarding, structured business-development and healthcare-technology training, compliance preparation, role-play and field-readiness activities, followed by supported initial field activity. Consultants must successfully complete applicable HIPAA, healthcare compliance, training, and field-readiness requirements before receiving independent field authorization.

As a Consultant's portfolio matures, the compensation model can become highly competitive within the healthcare business development industry. Modeled Year 3 annual compensation is approximately $83,284-$95,078. These figures represent modeled territory outcomes based on Geist Consulting's current planning assumptions, including successful territory development, qualifying account conversions, patient enrollment, account retention, collections, and the Consultant compensation structure in effect. The Geist territory model assumes approximately a three-year field-development runway , with qualifying accounts and recurring revenue continuing to mature over a five-year modeled earnings horizon . As the territory matures beyond Year 3, annual recurring compensation may continue to increase based on account performance, patient growth, retention, collections, and other model assumptions. The three (3) year figures are planning illustrations and are not guaranteed earnings. Actual compensation varies and is not guaranteed. Qualified candidates who advance to a second interview will receive a more detailed discussion of the territory model, performance assumptions, and potential compensation outcomes.
