Wealth Management Full-time Memphis, TN (On-Site) Full-time Job Description Memphis-based RIA with over $2.7 billion in assets under management is seeking a Director of Advisor Development to lead and support its high-performing team of Financial Advisors. This is a newly created leadership role designed to enhance advisor growth, accountability, and cohesion as the firm continues to scale. This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned leader with experience in the financial services industry, strong interpersonal and coaching skills, and the ability to bring structure and accountability to a collaborative, advisor-first culture. Candidates must be based in Memphis and available to work full-time in-office, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Financial Advisors at varying levels of experience Set and manage individual advisor goals and performance expectations Conduct regular one-on-one check-ins and provide ongoing mentorship Deliver annual reviews, manage performance documentation, and oversee advisor accountability Lead team meetings and training sessions at a cadence you determine Oversee onboarding and training of new advisors, including development of internal education pathways Participate in firm leadership meetings and serve on the Strategic Planning Committee Collaborate with senior leadership on compensation frameworks and performance structures Play an active role in advisor recruitment and cultural alignmentRole Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in the financial services or RIA industry Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred Proven ability to coach and develop sales professionals in a performance-driven environment Strong leadership presence, professionalism, and the ability to uphold a culture of accountability Active Series 65 or 66 license preferred Must be based in Memphis and available to work on-site from 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday throughFriday Compensation:
