$40,000 - $50,000/year ================================================================ Little Flock Christian School (LFCS), a thriving private Christian school in the heart of Fairfax, VA, is seeking to fill a full-time position of Assistant Director for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will assume a multifaceted role in helping our Director manage the school, including but not limited to: Setting staff policies and procedures and ensuring compliance. Assisting the Director in managing operational needs as they emerge in a timely and professional manner. Maintaining the school's website and social media accounts and posting news and updates as they become available. Assisting with fundraising efforts and helping in engaging parents and other donors to support the school, including events planning and coordination. Tracking enrollment and sharing in efforts to improve enrollment figures and retention of existing students, including planning/managing open houses and other enrollment events. Assisting in bookkeeping and in handling paperwork related to enrollment, signing up for afterschool programs, summer camp, etc. Engaging parents and maintaining a warm and solid relationship with them in order to boost their trust in LFCS and address any issues they may have. Being the first point of contact for staff issues whenever needed and suggesting remedies Assisting in administrative duties to make sure all state and federal regulations are adhered to, and that due reporting/government forms are filled and filed in a timely manner as well as all the communications with the parents.

Basic Qualifications:

A 4-year bachelor's degree in education or a related discipline from an accredited school CDA or College credit in Early Childhood Education ACSI Certified or willing to work towards certification First Aid/ CPR certified MAT certification At least 3 years of experience in a school/and or childcare center. Leadership or management experience is a plus!

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Christian School setting Multilingual (Arabic, Spanish, Korean) Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Bright Wheel Experience in managing websites and social media accounts
