The belonging lead serves as an advanced subject matter expert responsible for shaping and advancing enterprise culture and belonging strategies, programs, and practices. Leads complex cross-functional initiatives, provides strategic consultation to senior leaders, and leverages data, industry trends, and organizational insights to influence enterprise decisions, strengthen partner outcomes, and drive sustainable culture transformation. Owns storytelling and partner engagement across belonging initiatives. As a belonging lead, you will be responsible for:
Enterprise Strategy Development:
Partners in the development and advancement of enterprise culture and belonging strategies, frameworks, and priorities. Identifies emerging organizational needs and recommends approaches that strengthen partner experience, workforce outcomes, and organizational effectiveness.Advanced Consultation & Influence:
Serves as a trusted subject matter expert and strategic advisor to senior leaders, Human Resources partners, and cross-functional stakeholders. Influences decision-making on complex organizational issues through compelling recommendations, thought leadership, and expertise.Enterprise Program Leadership:
Leads highly visible, complex, and cross-functional initiatives that drive enterprise culture and belonging priorities. Establishes strategic direction, manages competing priorities, and ensures successful execution across multiple stakeholder groups.Organizational Insights & Measurement:
Leverages workforce analytics, partner feedback, external benchmarks, and industry trends to evaluate organizational effectiveness and identify opportunities for sustainable improvement. Uses insights to influence priorities, investments, and program strategy.Capability Building & Change Leadership:
Designs approaches that strengthen organizational capability, inclusive leadership practices, and long-term culture outcomes. Leads change management efforts that support enterprise adoption and sustained behavioral change.Innovation & Best Practices:
Identifies emerging trends, leading practices, and evolving business needs to enhance culture and belonging solutions. Recommends and implements innovative approaches that improve partner and organizational outcomes.Enterprise Representation & Thought Leadership:
Represents the function on enterprise initiatives, governance forums, and strategic projects. Advances awareness and understanding of culture and belonging priorities by building credibility, fostering partnerships, and sharing expertise across the organization. We'd love to hear from people with:- Strong understanding of belonging principles, systems, trends and challenges in the workplace.
- 7 years experience providing strategic advisory and/or consulting support to senior leaders influencing organizational practices, business decisions and talent practices
- 7 yrs experience advancing organizational effectiveness by embedding fairness, accessibility and belonging principles into business practices.
- 7 yrs managing complex large-scale business and/or people-focused projects.
- 7 yrs leader and stakeholder engagement
- Advanced ability to create audience-centered communications and influence stakeholders cross-functionally
- Proven judgment in knowing when to advocate strongly for an idea, when to pivot strategy, and when to pause or pull back based on organizational readiness and context.
- Experience navigating complex organizational dynamics to build consensus and drive alignment on belonging priorities.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution, adapting plans as needed to maintain momentum and impact.
- , sick time (accrued at 1 hour for every 25 hours worked), eight paid holidays, and two personal days per year.
- If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above.
