Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic CDL School Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our commercial driver's license (CDL) training program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality driver education aligned with state-specific laws and industry standards. The CDL School Manager will drive operational excellence, manage staff and resources effectively, and foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and enhance the CDL training program, ensuring compliance with all state-specific education laws and industry regulations Manage the school's organizational budget, including forecasting expenses, controlling costs, and optimizing resource allocation to meet operational goals Lead, supervise, and motivate staff including instructors, administrative personnel, and support teams to ensure a cohesive and high-performing work environment Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling classes, maintaining accreditation standards, and ensuring safety protocols are rigorously followed Provide instructional leadership by supporting teaching staff with curriculum development, assessment strategies, and continuous professional development opportunities Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to education administration and transportation safety standards Foster strong relationships with industry partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders to promote the school's reputation and growth Experience Must have a Class A CDL with a minimum of 2 years driving experience Must be willing to learn and train with patience Experience in strategic planning, organizational budget management, and instructional leadership in education settings Prior experience in teaching or training within the transportation or logistics industry is a plus Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety standards and regulatory compliance Join us to lead a vibrant team dedicated to shaping skilled drivers of tomorrow! Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
