Max Transport is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner dedicated to providing safe, timely, and reliable package delivery. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to support our delivery team and help drive daily operational success.

Note:

All Dispatcher candidates must complete a trial period as a Delivery Associate to gain delivery route proficiency before transitioning into the role. Position Summary The Dispatcher plays a key role in coordinating daily delivery operations, providing real-time driver support, and ensuring timely package delivery. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch Coordination Monitor route progress and adjust in real time based on traffic, delays, or issues Communicate performance feedback and address infractions throughout the day
• Driver Communication & Support Act as the primary point of contact for drivers during their shift Provide clear instructions, updates, and operational support
• Performance Monitoring Track key performance metrics including on-time delivery and safety compliance Coach drivers to improve performance and meet company standards
• Adaptability & Scheduling Respond to last-minute scheduling changes, emergencies, or operational demands
• Reporting & Documentation Maintain accurate logs of driver hours, route schedules, and performance data Generate reports to help improve efficiency and service quality
• Problem Resolution Troubleshoot and resolve delivery delays or operational issues as they arise Collaborate with drivers and leadership to implement effective solutions
• Safety & Company Policy Compliance Ensure drivers follow all company policies and safety procedures Address any violations or concerns promptly
• Route Coverage (as needed) Step in to run delivery routes when necessary to support operations
• Professionalism & Reliability Demonstrate dependable attendance and strong work ethic Lead by example with critical thinking, urgency, and accountability Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (college or certifications a plus) Dispatch, logistics, or transportation experience preferred Prior management or supervisory experience is a plus Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills Familiarity with dispatch and tracking software tools Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must pass a drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check Willingness to take routes when operationally required Knowledge of local roadways and delivery area is a bonus Ready to grow your career with Max Transport?
