Position:
Hot Seat Dispatcher Location:
Palm St. Office, occasionally work from a plant or home
Schedule:
Monday through Saturday, flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours may vary. Overtime, weekend work and nights may be required.

Perfect Attendance Bonus, Performance Bonus Reports to: Dispatch Manager Job Summary Responsible for confirming all dispatch duties have been performed daily. Provide managerial coverage during the dispatch manager's absence.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain a positive attitude in a stressful environment Be open and adjustable to feedback from coworkers and management Communicate with internal and external customers Operate the phone ware system (unless an emergency use recorded line for all business calls) Answer calls Utilize active listening skills on calls to figure out the customers' needs Work with teammates and management to meet the customers' needs Training and mentoring of others team members who are in roles that you have performed or are performing currently Operate Jonel to process and double check Wallcon orders Enter all types of orders received via email Correspond with customers via phone and email for order confirmation or clarification. Double check orders for accuracy Cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers to reduce stress from last-minute schedule changes Demonstrate strong time management skills by efficiently prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and balancing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Work to obtain general concrete knowledge on slumps, placement types and 90-minute rule Ability to load trucks Update truck tracking in Jonel Operate Verifi System Send trucks a Verifi ticket when requested Use Verify to watch slump, temperature, and time on job Use Verifi to adjust slump with ad-mix when requested Use of two-way radio to communicate with drivers Handle monitoring 2+ plants as needed Enter and post the callout as needed Update slides on the plant TVs as needed Adjust job start times and the plant servicing the job to maximize available trucking as needed Send some or all the end of day emails including but not limited to: Product Demand, Batch Load Screen, Daily Totals, and Plant Washout Times Set up and schedule intercompany orders from the preliminary order email for any given day Plan yards per day per plant, utilize graphing and other data to create the trucking plan for the day Be on call for issues after hours for the team (monitor from home when necessary) Work and customer de-escalation with certain issues Attend meetings as needed from home or office Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to Attendance/Punctuality, Professionalism and Safety The list above is meant for clarification of the employees' role; these job duties will change as the team finds new procedures to get the work done. Qualifications:
3 years ready mix dispatch experience or 2+ years Hot Seat I or higher with Core High school diploma/GED required Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Possess a basic knowledge and understanding of technology including Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, Windows, and the Jonel Suite of Products Skilled in Data Entry and Typing Capable of performing high-volume data entry with meticulous attention to detail and efficient typing abilities, ensuring error-free and prompt completion of tasks. Sitting for extended periods of time, extended screen time, heavy phone use and data entry

Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must talk and hear regularly, to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
