Previous dispatching experience is highly preferred. Pay rate will be $18/hr with the possibility for an increase after 90 days
Available Shift:
Tues-Saturday 10am-6:30pm OR Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be flexible to constant changes. This is an in- office position in Camarillo. No remote work available. The Dispatcher is responsible for monitoring daily transportation activities. They provide logistical assistance as needed to ensure each trip is completed timely, efficiently and with the highest degree of customer service.

Dispatchers coordinate high volume schedules and driver routes to transport patients to and from medical appointments and other engagements. Many of our patients are disabled and may need to be transported by wheelchair or gurney. Essential Duties
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding for clients (children, seniors, individuals with disabilities or illness).
  • Provides on phone customer service assistance including booking trips, and answering basic informational questions.
  • Properly deploy and monitor all NEMT vans and drivers to efficiently transport clients to medical appointments or other engagements to ensure timely pick up and drop off clients.
  • Provide excellent and effective communication and customer service to drivers, clients, and Network Providers/Medical Facilities.
  • Assist drivers and network providers with issues or problems related to scheduling, such as coordinating and scheduling hospital discharges.
  • Understand and effectively use dispatch software, document operations appropriately and follow Company policies.
  • Assists with complaint investigation/resolution to include printing driver manifests, completed paperwork, and maintaining notes on conversations provided by driver.
  • Looks for ways to streamline or improve the operation.
  • Works collaboratively with key individuals to properly coordinate maintenance and breakdown of vehicles.
  • Assist Customer Service Representatives during busy hours.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

From $18.00 per hour
