Freight Broker/Dispatcher

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Freight Broker/Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate the movement of freight by connecting shippers with reliable carriers, ensuring seamless transportation operations. Your proactive approach will drive efficiency, foster strong customer relationships, and optimize supply chain processes. Duties Act as the primary liaison between shippers, carriers, and customers to facilitate freight movement and ensure timely deliveries Use transportation management systems (TMS) and CRM software to schedule shipments, track loads, and update clients on status Negotiate rates, contracts, and service terms with carriers and clients to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality Dispatch drivers and coordinate pickup and delivery schedules in accordance with transportation planning requirements Manage data entry tasks such as load details, shipment documentation, and compliance records including FDA regulations where applicable Generate leads for new business opportunities through inside sales efforts and B2B relationship building Monitor freight costs, pricing strategies, and carrier performance to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce expenses Qualifications We are willing to hire candidates with no experience as long as they are open to learning. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on contracts, pricing, and carrier or customer relationships Ability to handle dispatching tasks efficiently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills for inside sales, customer relationship management, and lead generation activities Bilingual Preferred Join our team to help shape the future of logistics!
